Foods 2 is a .50 credit elective course. Students must successfully complete Intro to FCS and Fooods 1 before enrolling in Foods 2.
This class builds on the food preparation and information learned in Foods I with special attention given to presentation. This course focuses especially on international foods and different customs around the world. Foods II units include 1) Cakes, Cookies, Pies, & Candies, 2) Latin American, 3) Mediterranean, 4) Oriental, and 5) Grilling
Foods 2 differs from Foods 1 and students are spending 90% of the class time in the lab cooking. Proper food handling and preparation skills are imperative for this course.
